Well I guess I’m not going to delete bnmnghomecomputing.wordpress.com after all. I’ll just hide it. I just browsed WordPress’s instructions on deleting a blog and found that the name can never be used again. In other words, WordPress never frees a name. I don’t know why that is. It would seem that freeing a name is a good thing to do. Anyway, I know that nobody will ever want to use bnmnghomecomputing.wordpress.com, but it just seems like bad practice to ever delete a blog from wordpress, and there’s no advantage to doing so unless you wrote something that you strongly hope nobody will ever see. And deleting the blog only offers a small amount of protection from that. Instead of deleting, you can hide it from the public and from your dashboard.
